If the weather is bad when a riding club activity has been planned please ring the organiser to check the event hasn't been cancelled. NB - for Area 4 competitions, all horses and ponies must be up to date with vaccinations. Please ensure you are aware of the dress code and permitted tack for Area 4 events. Fiona (07742 885434) and Ann (07951 451997) have access to the Rule Book if you need help. The NRRC will now pay for your entries at Championships, but NOT for Qualifiers.

NEW FORMAT FOR 2011
Showjumping competitions will replace Clear Round nights as they were. Once a month (starting in April), we will have a competition with a Clear Round option in a separate ring. We will alternate rustics and colours. Classes will be 55cm, 65cm, 75cm and 85cm. Clear round heights to your choice. 55cm Entries CANNOT enter the 85cm.

Competition will be £5 per class and clear round £2 per class. Enter on the night, starting from 5.30pm. Horses and ponies will be split and, if there are lots of entries, the classes will be run in two phases. There will be an accumulator of points at the end of the summer. Rosettes 1st to 4th. Instructors present will alternate between Ann, Janet and Fiona. We will need helpers as per previous years.

Dressage competitions will also be held once per month with Intro, Prelim and Novice tests. Pre-entries will be required 10 days in advance to Fiona Foster with a payment of £5 per class. Details of tests to be provided in an advance schedule. Rosettes 1st to 6th. Useful websites for tests are www.britishdressage.co.uk and www.dressagediagrams.com. As with the Showjumping, there will be an accumulator of points at the end of the summer with a trophy for each class. Click here for Dressage Booking Form.

Rally Evenings will also be held once per month, pre-booked to include Flatwork, Gridwork, Working Hunter and Showjumping. £15/rider. Choose 2 sessions lasting 40 minutes. The evenings will start at 6.30pm. Payment and entries to be made to Debbie Bean 10 days prior to the session.
