5 & 6 June 2010 - CHAMPIONSHIPS, ASTON LE WALLS
Thank you to Ann Lunney for her report of the results, as follows:
'The J unior Novice Individual Challenge was won by Rachel Lunney riding Tangerine Dream, Rachel was clear S/J and X/C and was only 0.4 sec of the optimium time. Jack Teal and Rosie Howath, the pairs team, were 8th picking up 23 penalties.

Lois Teal won the working hunter pony showing class and was reserve champion in the working hunter pony championship.'

31 May 2010 - RICHMOND HORSE TRIALS
Thank you to Fiona for her report as follows:

'Well done to everyone who took part. A great day was had by everyone! Thank you to everyone that helped on and before the day. Thanks to Louise Waind, Jackie Teal, Eddy (Beth Shipley's grandad), Jo Rising, Ann Lunney, Jen Foster, Ann Sibsey and Fiona Foster who all helped with our delegated tasks.The new way of organisisng the helpers seemed to work very well, so this will be continued in future competitions.

Our junior team of Sophie, Rachael, Emily and Lois won the junior novice team event whilst James Richardson shared 1st place overall.'

14 April 2010 - GYMKANA, HAMLEY HAGG
Well done to everyone who took part. There were approximately 30 competitors all together and the overall results were as follows:
10 years and under - Champion: Grace Howell; Reserve Champion: William McCarthy
11 to 15 years - Champion: Rosie Howarth; Reserve Champion: Emily Symonds
Seniors - Champion: Andrea Howell; Reserve Champion: Kirsty Ashworth

28 March 2010 - AREA 4 - SHOWCROSS, EPWORTH
Rosie Howarth and Jack Teal won the pairs, and James and Sophie Richardson came 2nd. Rachel Lunney came 2nd in the Novice and Hannah Miller came 6th. The Junior Novice teams came both 3rd and 4th. We expect Rosie and Jack to be invited to the Championships in Ashton-le-Walls 5-6 June. Ann Lunney has confirmed that Rachel has been invited to Ashton-le-Walls qualifying as an individual. Thanks to Anne for sending in the photo below of Rachel and Tango.

13 November 2009 : ANNUAL QUIZ NIGHT AND AWARDS, Kirkbymoorside Golf Club
The Quiz was won by 'Well-oiled' consisting of Robert Harrison, Steven Tate, Ervine Lynch and David Johnson, who will set the questions for next year.

The NRRC Summer Clear Round Points Awards were announced as follows:
Seniors: 1st Di Feaster, 2nd Angela Feaster, 3rd Sam Dring, 4th joint Sarah Ashbridge, Tina Williams & Richard Feaster
Juniors: 1st Rachel Lunney, 2nd Henry Blenkin, 3rd Kira Colgan, 4th joint Ella Turnbull & Rosie Howarth, 5th Lizzy Rising

The Elmsall House Trophy was won by Tina Williams on Harry for her improvements and Dressage achievements.

27 September 2009 : PLEASURE RIDE AT APPLETON LE MOORS
The Pleasure Ride on the 27th September saw a total of 63 riders raise £700 for The Brooke. Many thanks from the Committee to all those who supported the event.

One large group of Juniors and 2 groups of Senior attended. Fancy Dress Costume prizes went to Skye Otterburn, Gill Sampson and Rhona Bough.
